It has been a while since thrifty shopping, actually a few weeks ago I got in the mail a "coupon" of $5 off a next purchase to shop at "Goodwill" (in 3 years of couponing this was a first!!). They remodeled their store so they were sending flyers with coupons.
But yesterday morning my friend Elena who went to Italy on Wednesday Skyped me asking to go check at Salvation Army if there was still a lamp she saw a few days back before leaving.
She gave me a description of the lamp and the location and told me it was $10. She thought it was gone already. But it was worth to try, so in the afternoon I went and she was still there!
Isn't she a beauty? And the best part was going to pay for it and finding out that yellow tags were 75% off that day!!!! I only paid $2.50 for it!!!!!!
Yup only $2.50!!! I should go thrifty shopping more often I guess :)

Great find!! I love going to thrift stores. I actually bought a bigger vehicle so I could make better use of my time (i.e buy bigger stuff). Well at least that was the excuse I gave my hubby :)
