Getting Booed

During the weekend I finished the Halloween baskets for out Neighborhood Boo Tradition. Last year was the first time we were ever been Booed, I didn't even know such thing existed!!

If you are not familiar too the Halloween Boo is a fun tradition where you put together 2 baskets fill with Halloween  goodies (toys, food, etc...) and you place each one in front of your neighbor's door. You ring the bell  and you hide so they don't see who left it. Than they  have to do the same for 2 other neighbors! In the basket beside the goodies they will find a Boo Poem with all the instructions and a Boo sign to put on their door so other people will know they already have been Booed!

In a basket that I got from the grocery store I included: Funfetti cake mix, Funfetti vanilla frosting, Halloween Frapp Bottle that I made{HERE}, double chocolate chip cookie and a flashlight. All wrapped up in a orange and black polka dots cello bag.

You can print the Boo Poem & Sign {HERE

Such a fun tradition and the kids love it especially when they find the basket in front of the door!

Does your neighborhood has this tradition?

  11. Someone started this in our neighborhood long ago and it hasn't been done again in years. We've done it at school with our teacher mailboxes and that was fun, too.
