Getting to know better my sponsors

Today we will do something different and we will get to know better one of my sponsors. Her name is Allice and she is the shop owner of TutuLand.

I met Allice (via convo on Etsy) last year . We met only once at a craft show in August and haven't seen her since then. (Yes, we live in the same city!!) But  I really enjoy our morning/late night Facebook chitchatting! 

So here is the Lady behind all the tulle and ribbons:

1. Favorite Color-  

Pink {of course}-  It's always been pink since I was a little girl.  I'm drawn to it.  Pink and Green together {hence, my logo}

2. Favorite Chick Movie-

Waiting to Exhale.  I love that movie and could watch it over and over again.  I also love the Notebook.

3. Favorite TV show- 

Modern family- duh. There isn't an episode where I'm not laughing hysterically.

4. If you can pick a destination to visit where would you go?

 Italy.  I hope to visit in the next 5 years.

5. Favorite family tradition- 

My children expect me to make potato soup on Halloween.  I have always done it and if I didn't they would
be lost. 

6. I'm scared of....

{flying}- I do it, but I don't like it.  If my hubby and kids are with me I'm much better because if we die we all will die. lol.  I hate the thought of dying and leaving my children. :(

7. How do you balance family/work/Etsy/blogging?

 This is a hard one.  I work 4 days a week as an HR Manager so on my day off during the week I try to plan all my errands and get alot of orders finished.  After work I usually start creating about 8pm when we are all upstairs getting ready for bed and work on things for a few hours, then I try to get to my blog about 10pm while watching the news. I wake up early {naturally}, so every morning I get my pictures taken {natural light}, upload, edit and list them,  all my social networking done and drink lots of coffee!   I try to do my business work when everyone is sleeping or at an activity so it doesnt interfere with family time.  My Iphone helps alot too. 

8. An advise for those who are thinking of starting an Etsy shop-

 If you're thinking about starting an etsy shop I would say to make something you love, Dont copy others work, Dont give up {it takes time} get a good name and logo first {so you're prepared for that sale} and just keep learning, networking and enjoying it.

9. Goals for your Etsy shop this year- 

I want to expand my line to include party hats, wands, diaper covers and birthday banners to match tutu outfits.

10. If you could be someone else for a day you would be...

Probably Martha Stewart or Giada.  I would love to get in to Martha's brain for a day and cook like Giada in her beach house :)
